Exciting News for Oak City Swim School and Our Community. As a New Chapter Begins, Our Commitment Remains Strong
A letter from our owners
We’re excited to share that Oak City Swim School, along with Gypsy Divers and AirTech Scuba Services, has officially joined the Diventures family. While this marks a new chapter for our business, what matters most will stay the same. Jackie and the wonderful team you know and trust will continue teaching, guiding, and celebrating each swimmer’s progress. They’ll now be supported by even more resources and opportunities, ensuring our community continues to thrive.
As a locally owned small business, we’ve always prided ourselves on our ability to quickly adapt our teaching model to match the individual learning capabilities of our swimmers. We’ve always been more concerned with safety over sales. Teaching water safety skills is one of the most important things we could do. We promise to keep these core values in place as Oak City Swim School moves forward, continuing to promote the essential water skills that keep our community safe and confident in the water. With the future support of Diventures, we hope the phrase “I had no idea you were here!” will soon be a thing of the past. Thank you for being part of our journey, and we look forward to the swim school’s future!
Thank you,
Billy and Christina
From Our Swim Director
Dear Oak City Swim Families,
What an exciting time at Oak City Swim School! Our team is thrilled to share that we are now part of the Diventures family, bringing even more opportunities, resources, and support to our amazing staff and swimmers.
While this new chapter brings exciting growth, what truly matters will always stay the same — our passion for teaching, coaching, and developing confident, water-safe swimmers right here in our community… and having fun while we do it!
You can expect all the things you know and love about Oak City to remain unchanged. Class schedules, tuition processing, make-ups, account credits, and student portal logins will continue to operate just as before. You’ll still reach us through the same familiar email and phone number, and we’re here to answer any questions you may have along the way.
We’re proud to continue as Oak City Swim School — your trusted home for water safety and swimming success. Thank you for being part of our swim family and for making Oak City Swim such a special place to learn and grow.
With gratitude and excitement,
Jackie & The Oak City Swim Leadership Team
