Deck Manager at Oak City Swim School is a leadership position within our program that manages all aspects of instruction during lessons on assigned shifts. Deck Managers are the front line in our swim lesson program, managing parent communication, student progress, staff coaching and development and pool safety on each assigned shift. A Deck Manager candidate must have at least 3 years of swim instruction experience. Experience managing/coaching staff is a plus. Candidates should have a nationally recognized lifeguard, coaching or swim instruction certification or the ability to complete a required course within 60 days of hire. This is a year-round position, part-time position.
